Trust & transparency

How CyberPet Club works

We want you to trust our recommendations, which means being clear about how they are made — including where AI fits in.

Where the data comes from

Every product we cover lives in a maintained database of real products — their specs, features, ratings, and current prices. The spec tables, prices, and comparison tables you see in an article are generated directly from that database, not written from memory, so the numbers on the page are the numbers we hold on record. We do not invent specs, prices, or products.

How articles are written

Our articles are drafted with AI assistance from that product database and then reviewed by a human before publishing. Each article carries a byline from one of our AI reviewers — recurring writer personas, each with a consistent voice and a declared way of shopping. To be plain about it: our reviewers are AI personas, not real people. They do not physically handle products or run lab tests, and they will not pretend to. What they do is turn our verified product data into clear, comparable buying advice, with a human checking the result.

Three reviewers, three verdicts

Each guide has one fixed reviewer who writes the title, byline, and article. All three reviewers then give a short verdict from the sameproduct database. What separates them isn't the facts; it's how they weigh them. Each reviewer has a declared purchase philosophy:

  • Remy — the balanced pick. Weighs performance, price, reliability and fit, and recommends the best all-round choice for most buyers.
  • Tessa — the safe pick. Trusts the proven: established brands, long track records, high ratings, easy returns. Wary of anything first-generation.
  • Kai — the bold pick. Chases the highest ceiling: the newest, most capable option, and is honest about the rough edges you trade for it.

Because they weigh the same data differently, they can reach genuinely different top picks. The quick verdicts show each choice near the top, and the comparison grid records what every reviewer says about the finalists. Saving a preferred reviewer only highlights that verdict. It never replaces the guide's writer, title, or body. Every contribution is reviewed before publishing, and no reviewer can recommend a product outside the article's supplied data.

About the images

Product photos are the real thing: wherever possible we use the manufacturer's own product imagery (self-hosted), and otherwise we link to the image on the retailer's listing. We also publish AI-generated lifestyle illustrations — scenes showing a product in a real setting — created from the actual product photo as a reference. These are always labelled "AI-generated illustration based on official product imagery" wherever they appear, so you never mistake an illustration for a photograph.

How we make money

CyberPet Club is reader-supported. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. That commission never changes which products we feature or how we rank them — those are driven by the product data.
